My Week in Photos May 11 2013

Its been another hectic week. But everything is better when the sun is shinning and it started off as a gorgeous week in Toronto.  It was a week full of work and play, just the way I like it.

I discovered this store on Queen St called Chatelet.  I fell in love with its Parisian vibe and wanted everything in the store.

Speaking of Parisian vibe, I did a shoot with jewellery designer Maryam Keyhani. Maryam's pieces are sold around the world. We did a portrait shoot with her in her lovely home. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in.

Right after that shoot I jumped on the plane and headed to London for a few days. My fave drink is a London Fog.

 Had to make a stop at Harrods for a little shopping and lunch.

I love London. Its one of my fave cities. Here's a shot of Regent St at night

Beauty Product Round Up - Alber Elbaz for Lancome

My Week in Photos

 The beautiful weather is finally here!  This week has been gorgeous. Nothing makes me happier than the sun shine.  Here's what Ive been up to this week.

 Woke up this day and decided to sort out my eyeshadow palettes.  I dont know why I decided to do and it took forever!  But all my palettes were very pretty after

Three looks in one

I swear I have the best clients.  Im so lucky I get to work with amazingly beautiful people inside and out.  This is one of my fave clients. We've worked together several times and we like to play around with different looks every time. Its always fun to experiment and remember makeup is not permanent so just enjoy it!

Riri Woo & Mac Cosmetics

Rihanna just launched her new lipstick collaboration with Mac Cosmetics called Riri Woo.  This is the signature red lipstick that her makeup artist has been using on her.  This is one of my favourite red lipsticks to use on all my clients.  Here's a little video showing Riri Woo and how fab it is.  If you're thinking about getting it and making this your staple red lip, I totally recommend.  However, the Riri edition did sell out. But the original colour from Mac is actually called Ruby Woo so you can still get that anytime.  Enjoy!

My Week in Photos April 27, 2013

Its been another busy week filled with shoots, events, videos and most importantly PASTRIES!

I got to work on this photo shoot with the amazing couple behind Ela Handbags, Ela and Martin Aldorsson.  If you haven't seen the line, you've got to check it out www.elahandbags.com Ela, the creative force behind the line was incredibly sweet and had a great sense of style.  And she loved makeup so I had a great time with her on this shoot.

I recently read about this skin care line called Eve Lom so of course I had to try it.  I tried out their Moisture Mask for a week.  It is a beautiful hydration mask especially great for really dry skin.

I love attending events for previewing new product launches and this event with Lise Watier was extra sweet.  It was held at the cutest bakery on Queen St in Toronto.  The event was to introduce their new Something Sweet Fragrance.  They also announced their new contest for finding the face of Something Sweet.  Check out the Lise Watier site to learn more about the contest www.lisewatier.com

My highlight of my week was finding this new bakery on King & Bathurst called Biroche Dore. Baked goods are my weakness (amongst many other things) and this place had the freshest pastries. I just sat in there for hours just so I can smell all the stuff that kept coming out of the oven.

How to clean your face

I love these videos from Into the Gloss showing how to properly clean your face.  I'm sure this lovely Parisian woman with her gorgeous french accent and perfect skin has something to do with why I love them so much.  But regardless, there are some great tips that everyone should know and use.  Enjoy!

My Week in Photos April 20

I love working with great teams and meeting new people in the industry.  This week was all about that. All the amazing people that I get to meet is one of the best parts of my job.

This is Sam.  She is gorgeous.  She was the model from a recent shoot I worked on.  She's half Japanese, half British. She was so lovely inside and out. 

I love makeover shows and I used to always watch the show "Look Alike" So when I found out that I would be doing the makeup & hair for one of the stars from that show, Alissia Marciano I was so excited.  I loved working with her.  She was even more gorgeous in real life than she was on TV.

All set up and ready to go for another shoot.  It always start pretty but by the end of the day, its a mess!

My Week in Photos April 13

Hi Guys!
Well Im back from my trip and it was amazing! I had the best time.  Its hard to have to come back to reality.  I wish I could have stayed there for another month!  But Im back and that means back to work! Ive been working on a bunch of exciting new projects.  Cant wait to tell you guys all about them.
